Ever since Facebook rolled out it’s places feature last week there have been quite a few questions floating around on privacy. I have to say personally that they seem to have done an excellent job this time probably showing that they have learned from the privacy fiasco they had in May when announcing the social graph. This short video walks you through some of the steps that you can take to ensure that you have complete control over your privacy on Facebook places. It addresses one of the main concerns I would have had which was the notion that people could tag me and alert others to my whereabouts but as the video shows you can easily remove yourself. The video also shows that no matter what settings minors choose they will only ever be able to show there whereabouts to friends. Well worth watching this video if you plan to use Facebook Places and are worried in any way about privacy.
